It took a lot of courage to step outside of my comfort zone and become an entrepreneur. I partnered with Sam in building out Sanari Capital because I wanted to make a positive impact on South Africa and her people; to be part of building the next generation of businesses in Africa that drive a strong profit-with-purpose agenda. In investments, I like to ask the right questions, drilling into the detail, establishing and building in the right controls and processes to ensure that the business has a solid foundation from which it can scale. I look for dedicated passionate management teams who understand their businesses and have a good grasp of their industry, and as always, is backed up by the numbers!
